Deborah Tulani Salahu-Din's poetry tells the story of her remarkable journey from Maryland's Eastern Shore to destinations in Europe, Africa, and throughout the United States. Deborah works with the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture and is also at work on a book inspired by one of her poems.
